Thanks for Wild Things

As a secular person I have much to be thankful for, and I don’t really mind a day when the nation is reminded to be grateful.

Family, friends, health … and wild things.

These wild turkeys passed by this afternoon.

I’m grateful they aren’t on a plate.

Though I don’t eat a lot of meat, I do eat turkey, and try to be mindful of all the critters who “give their lives” (not voluntarily) so we can live.

Remember that when you’re gobbling this year.

Have a Grateful Holiday.
