My newspaper columns have been published in at least 60 papers in the USA Today network.
Since I began writing two weekly columns, adding the Black Belt News network out of Selma, Alabama, I’ve appreciated the fact my words are being read in even more locations across the country.
I’m pleased to hear from any readers, even those who pray for God to rescue me from the clutches of satan and the fires of hell.
Thankfully, most comments I hear are positive and sometimes quite humbling. Like this one I received today:
“I just want you to know that I have become a Chris Highland disciple. I look forward to your column every Saturday in [our local paper]. You express many thoughts that I have had over the decades, but I can’t really express due to certain members of my family and friends.”
I’m not seeking “disciples,” but it’s nice to know my writing can encourage those who may not feel free to express their true and honest thoughts and beliefs.
Many more comments (including from unhappy readers) are posted on the Columns and Essays page.
Thanks for reading!
Chris
As you may know, I’ve collected many of my columns and essays in Books.
