Breaking (Broken) News Just In from “West Wing Reads” (official White House email):

‘You Had God Watching’

President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump “met Wednesday with some of the dozens wounded or injured in the weekend mass shootings in Ohio and Texas that left 31 dead,” Fred Lucas reports in The Daily Signal.

“In between visits with survivors at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, the president and first lady thanked the medical staff.” While there, the President told survivors that “you had God watching. I want you to know we’re with you all the way.”

Later yesterday, “the president and first lady visited with first responders and hospital staff as well as victims and their families at the University Medical Center of El Paso.”

Two questions:

Why wasn’t God “watching” those who were killed?

Why can’t God be “with them all the way”? 

Bonus question:  How will the Twit-in-Chief actually “be with” victims of gun violence?

btw, if you want to know what the “church newsletter” for Trump worshippers is dumping on the deplorables, I suggest subscribing to the “West Wing Reads.” (I can’t read the whole rag all the time, but it can be an interesting insider perspective).

Also raises the perpetual question I have:  what, if anything, does this guy read?  I assume the Bible is not something he can read
