Course Description
The anti-democratic ideology of “Christian Nationalism” is an increasing threat to the principle of separation of religion and state. Evident in “biblically-based” legislation that seeks to control women’s bodies, eliminate inclusive public schools and give extremist Christianity power and privilege at all levels of government, the danger to our secular Constitution is clear. We will engage current voices of this movement and those who stand for true religious liberty (a continuation of the “Christian Nationalism” class in Fall, 2022).
