This week’s column, “Storms of Service and Salvation,” calls attention to the motives behind helping others, especially after disasters.  Do we help to “share and save souls,” or because it’s the right thing to do?

I left a comment on a post by the international ministry that arrived in our area “in the name of Jesus.”  I wrote:

“Good work.  A question:  Would you be okay if a group came to you and said they wanted to rebuild your house “in the name of Allah” or “in the name of Krishna”?
