My latest collection of essays has been published as a paperback, ebook and audiobook. Published during the aftermath of our destructive storm here in Western North Carolina, the emphasis is on learning from Nature, its creative (and destructive) power and wisdom. Nature is the greatest Teacher, and the greatest classroom is open for us all.
Marty, a humanist chaplain in Canada, writes:
“Congrats Chris for another of your published efforts. I have most of your books and have used them as references for some of my writing.”
The Universal University: Notes from the Greatest Classroom
Thank you to all who purchase, read and respond to my writings!
(btw, the cover photo was taken on a sea island on the coast of South Carolina, during our brief “evacu-cation” from the devastation in Western North Carolina)
Review in The Freethought Society News
(this generally good review mentions two sentences left hanging. Those have been corrected/completed in newer copies)

Ha, I bet I’m the first order. Kindle. They make it so easy.
Hey, thanks Janet. I hope you enjoy the book. Let me know what you think.
Congrats Chris for another of your published efforts. I have most of your books and have used them as references for some of my writing. I find finishing off my book on Humanism for Multifaith Chaplains and university students to be a real challenge.. I may reach out for your expertise and encouragement as you have crossed the goal line many times.
Keep up your perspective as hopefully we grow wiser as we age even though hiking to my favorite streams to cast a fly is more difficult these daze.
Cheers,
Marty
