This Little Light of Mine, and Yours, Let it Shine

“In a recent “Highland Views” column I invited local congregations or individuals to shine a spotlight on the good things they were doing in the community, for the community. Two responses I received to the column were from couples responding to practical needs in the area. I found it interesting that people were connecting with local congregations but not necessarily as members. It says a lot about a community who will accept participation by non-members, and it says something positive about people who will work alongside faith communities even though they may not share the same beliefs.”
