We hear it all the time:

“God says!”

My response:

“Says You!”

One famous evangelist always gives his “answer” to someone’s faith question.  His answer is always … always … a quote from the bible, and “God says.”

I say:  Then why not simply tell everyone to read the bible (“God’s Word”) for themselves, and stop giving their time and money to you, your ministry, your church?
