April 21, 1838.  Naturalist-to-be John Muir was born in Dunbar, Scotland.

I think it’s a day worthy of celebrating as a Holiday, as “holy” as any other.

I like to celebrate his life with a little time in his “heaven” (Nature) enjoying the presence of his “god” (Beauty) . . . and, of course, a wee dram of the “water of life” (whisky).
