Two hundred and fifty years ago, in January 1776, Thomas Paine’s world-shaking little book, Common Sense, was published. It was a fiery call for the colonists to stand up and fight for a free nation, freedom of conscience, and no kings but the Law.
In this month, when we honor Paine’s birth and his Common Sense, especially in the 250th year of the Declaration of Independence, I wonder what would happen if more of us heard his call to declare our own personal independence.
What would You declare?

This is so very nice, Mr. Highland. Thank you! The list was perfection. 😊
Peace, love, and light,
