Is Your Elected Leader Praying for You?

Thought you’d like to know your “representatives” in the United States Congress may be praying For You!

Take a look at the Congressional Prayer Caucus

I’ve been trying to submit the “prayer requests” below to the Prayer Caucus (and was repeatedly bumped out).  I’ll keep trying, since I know the Almighty American God especially listens to the prayers of (pious) politicians.

I encourage you to submit your own “prayers,” whether you actually pray, or not.

Isn’t it nice to know politicians are praying for us? (of course not)

NOTE:  read closely what Chairman Rick Allen says the purpose of the CPC is.  See how inclusive of our pluralistic nation they are:

“As believers, we should reflect on the blessings we have been afforded by Him and renew our trust and commitment to Christ.

I hope you continue to join me in praying for a spiritual awakening in our nation and for God to anoint leaders who are faithful to His word.”

My “Prayer Requests”:

-Please pray for the country to be united by true religious freedom that protects all faiths and those with no faith.
-Please pray that America will firmly resist attempts by Christian Nationalists to “take back” our free nation, to unconstitutionally impose the beliefs of one extremist form of the Christian religion on everyone.
-Please pray that our elected leaders will put our secular Constitution above any religious text including the Bible.
-Please pray for elected leaders to represent “We the People,” including citizens who choose a religious belief and those who do not.
-Please pray that politicians will not act like preachers, assuming they can use taxpayer funds to solicit personal prayers.

Thank you for humbly praying for these requests.

Matthew 6:5*

*“Whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray [in public], so that they may be seen by others.”
