I was pleased, and a little surprised, to see my book, Was Jesus a Humanist? linked in the Alumni News from my evangelical alma mater, Seattle Pacific University.

Reading over my introduction again, I tried to see it through my college-student-believer eyes.  It will be a stretch for some to read my essays, but I truly hope some will contact me to engage a conversation.

After all, that’s one main reason I teach classes on Freethought for both believers and “nones,” and the intent of what I write in my books, columns and blogposts.
